The mysterious Intrusion project delivers an epic release so analog, so tonal, and so rich, you have to surrender to its beauty. The original mix is dubbed-out bliss: smooth, textured pads and a bass line even King Tubby would surrender to. So analog and lo-fi, you would think this was recorded at Studio 1 in the 1960s. On the flip, Brendon Moeller serves up island grooves with heavy bass reductions, live melodicas, a brass section and spatially-aware dub FX. Pressed on green marbled vinyl.
